Hang Ozzie Orange facing your baby, so that he can reach it with his hands, bat at it and grasp its arms and legs.

Play peek-a-boo games: open the orange to reveal the hidden pit, and close the orange to hide it.  
12 months + 
Show your baby a real orange. Let him touch and feel it. Show him the various parts, and compare with Ozzie Orange
