0-3 months
Play the unique "white noise" option to your newborn baby. Research has found that these sounds relax newborns as they remind them of sounds they had heard in the womb.
5+ months
Once the time for mobiles is over, remove the arm and leave the stand-alone music box. Soon enough your baby will learn how to activate the music box independently.
12+ months
Once your little one starts walking, he or she will enjoy carrying the music box around and listening to their favorite tune from the wide selection!
1.
Enjoy as a classic mobile with added musical value and variety.
2.
Remove the mobile arm and leave the music box only once baby is sitting up
3.
Allow baby to enjoy carrying the stand-alone music box around once walking kicks in. The Soothe 'n Groove Mobile Safari allows parents to easily moderate the level of stimulation it offers. Activate the movement and music together or introduce baby to one feature at a time; enjoy the full mobile experience or remove the overhead arm and use as a music box only.
Reducing Stimulation
If your baby seems uncomfortable or restless (crying, averting her gaze, etc) reduce the level of stimulation. Turn the music and movement on separately and monitor baby’s reaction. Check whether baby shows preference for a certain tune or genre. Increasing Stimulation
If your baby seems uninterested, he might need more stimulation. Turn the music and movement on together, choosing a more upbeat tune, and draw his attention to the dangling toys.Did you know?
Baby’s reaction to the mobile may vary. Adjust the use of the mobile and level of stimulation to baby’s changing moods and needs (i.e. soft music and few features to help baby fall asleep or louder music and more features to keep her engaged, etc). At any rate, engage your baby with music early on to help her cultivate her music cognition and other skills.
