Baby plays with the balls, holding them in her hand and shaking them to hear the fun rattling sound. She further explores them with her mouth. Holding a ball in each hand, she bangs them together.
After she has learned to sit up, baby enjoys dropping the balls through the large opening (in the elephants’s body) into the base. She drops the balls and watches them fall, amused at their reappearance in the small tray, which she will just love closing and opening time and again.
Amusing stacking game
Fun ball game with rewarding sounds
The Musical Stack & Ball Game offers an array of diverse stimuli and includes play options for various ages and stages. It is therefore very important to present to play with the toy in an age-appropriate fashion that is suited to your child’s unique sensory makeup.
If your baby seems uncomfortable or overwhelmed, let him gradually become accustomed to the toy. For example, let him play with two of the balls, rattling them and exploring with his hands and mouth. Alternatively, drop the balls through the elephant’s head, with or without the electronic feedback, and show your baby how they disappear and then reappear through the opening. In this way, you help your baby moderate and organize his experience.
If your baby seems bored or uninterested, remove the soft rings and activate the electronic feedback while dropping the balls in noisily. Add you own comments: “Where has the ball gone? Here it is!” This will intensify the experience and encourage baby to play with the toy independently.
